Program Purpose:
Canada’s continued membership in the IAEA furthers the Government of Canada’s foreign policy goals and provides Canada with a voice in the international nuclear community. To this end, Canada pays annual dues, by way of an assessed contribution. The objective of paying the annual assessed contribution is to enable Canada to meet its financial obligations to the IAEA as well as to fulfil our foreign policy objectives by participating in the work of the organization.
