Expected Results: IFAD has the following expected results and will track the following key performance indicators, which are aligned to the climate finance objectives:
Strengthen the environmental sustainability and climate resilience of poor rural people’s economic activities measured by:
Output level
• Groups supported to sustainably manage natural resources and climate-related risks
• Persons provided with climate information services
• Persons accessing technologies that sequester carbon or reduce greenhouse gas emissions
• Land brought under climate-resilient management
Outcome level
• Tons of Greenhouse gas emissions (tCO2e) avoided and/or sequestered
• Households reporting adoption of environmentally sustainable and climate- resilient technologies and practices
• Households reporting a significant reduction in the time spent for collecting water or fuel
• Biodiversity improvements at ecosystem level
