Description:
The Common Good Cyber Fund is a collaborative initiative designed to fortify cybersecurity defenses where they’re needed most. Led by cybersecurity experts and implemented by the Internet Society (ISOC), the fund will support the cybersecurity nonprofits whose missions are to maintain the critical cybersecurity infrastructure and deliver scalable solutions to secure high-risk actors from digital harm, including NGOs, journalists, and human rights defenders.

Expected Results:
The project will increase resilience and sustainability of nonprofits working in cybersecurity and ensure that businesses and civil society organizations continue their work safely. Improved access to trusted cybersecurity services for civil society organizations and human rights defenders will contribute to greater adoption of best practices and security-by-design principles in cybersecurity work, and; more equitable and inclusive access to a secure and trusted internet that enables democratic participation, free expression, and the protection of human rights.
