The SBEF 2026-Segment 1 will be delivered through two linked leadership-level engagements in India, timed to coincide with the UnivCan Presidents’ Mission. Providing a focused platform for Presidents, Provosts and senior faculty to engage with Indian Institutional leaders.

Expected Results:
The objective of SBEF 2026-Segment 1 is to strengthen Canada–India academic diplomacy by identifying shared priorities across innovation and technology, clean energy and sustainability, and agri-tech and food security, and by establishing a number of feasible, near-term collaboration pathways. The project is designed to consolidate converging priorities, reinforce institutional readiness for collaboration, and document clear thematic directions to guide follow-up.
