Expected Results:

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) enhanced capabilities of biosecurity professionals to prevent, detect and respond to biological events through strengthened pool of qualified, competent and diverse biosafety/biosecurity professionals; (2) increased adoption and integration of DEI and gender mainstreaming efforts in biosafety and biosecurity decision-making at organizational leadership and governance levels around the world; and (3) strengthened coordination and leveraged investments across global initiatives and networks advancing gender-responsive biological, chemical, nuclear, and radiological disarmament.
