Description:
This project aims to support ongoing efforts to advance the participation of women in the nuclear security and non-proliferation field. The project seeks to engage at least 12 women from developing countries in the following activities: (1) providing funds for a gender equality event that engages other women in their home institutions; (2) providing a five-session webinar training series to develop knowledge and skills; and (3) conducting an in-person workshop to allow beneficiaries to engage in policy discussions with women experts from international institutions and participate in a tabletop exercise on nuclear risk.

The expected outcomes of this project include: 1) strengthened networks between beneficiaries and other women in the nuclear security and non-proliferation field; and 2) increased knowledge and professional skills among beneficiaries on gender equality, nuclear security, and non-proliferation.
