Description:
This project with the International Atomic Energy Agency will bring together research institutions to collaborate on a Coordinated Research Project to assess and advance computer security for small modular reactors. Key activities include: (1) convening at least nine research coordination meetings, consultancy meetings, and expert missions; (2) production of reports on cybersecurity for small modular reactors by each participating research institution; (3) production of fifteen scientific papers and tools on cybersecurity for small modular reactors; and (4) publishing one technical document on cybersecurity for small modular reactors to provide guidance to Member States.

Expected Results:
The expected results of this project include: (1) increased capacity of participating research institutions to share information and knowledge about cybersecurity for small modular reactors; and (2) increased access by beneficiary countries to technical information and tools to assess and address cybersecurity risks to small modular reactors.
