Description:
This project provides support for the 2018 Canadian Conference on Global Health. Organized annually by the Canadian Society for International Health, the conference showcases global health research and projects undertaken by Canadians and their international partners. The conference regularly attracts researchers, policy-makers, civil society representatives and students from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and interests. It provides a unique and important opportunity for participants to network and to share innovative approaches, noteworthy results, and lessons learned. The conference themes and sub-themes, determined on an annual basis, reflect global health priorities and Canadian international assistance objectives. In 2018, the overarching theme of ‘fragile environments and human health’ and the cross-cutting subtheme of ‘gender equality’ encourage reflection and learning on topics that are central to Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy.
