Description:

This project will further support NTI’s role as Secretariat of the IPNDV, particularly the implementation of Phase 2 of the Partnership’s work. This will include: (1) support for the IPNDV Plenary and the three Working Groups; (2) support for the IPNDV’s outreach activities; and (3) support for NTI staff time for the IPNDV

• Facilitate the work of the experts involved in the IPNDV by convening plenary sessions and Working Group meetings, including the further elaboration of the 14 steps in the nuclear disarmament process, and to scope the next phase of the IPNDV.
• Promote the IPNDV’s nuclear disarmament work by holding outreach events in advance of the 2020 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference, holding technical demonstrations; the production, publication, and promotion of digital content, print materials, and press releases; and the development and maintenance of digital platforms.
