Grants and Contributions:
The expected outcomes include: (1) increased use of gender-responsive, inclusive, and locally-driven health products and services, especially for the most marginalized and vulnerable; (2) increased effectiveness of diverse innovators to test and transition their health innovations to scale and sustainability, integrating gender equality, human rights, inclusion and environmental sustainability; and (3) enhanced generation, sharing, and integration of evidence and learning from innovative, gender-responsive, inclusive, and locally-driven solutions to health challenges by Grand Challenges Canada and other innovation ecosystem actors.
The main purpose on the International Development Assistance Program is to reduce poverty for those living in countries where Global Affairs Canada engages in international development.
