Organized annually by the Canadian Society for International Health, the conference highlights global health research and projects undertaken by Canadians and their international partners. The conference attracts researchers, policy-makers, civil society representatives and students from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and interests. The CCGH provides a unique and important opportunity for participants to network and share innovative approaches, noteworthy results, and lessons learned. The conference’s annual themes and sub-themes reflect global health priorities and Canadian international assistance objectives. CCGH’s 2019 theme is “Governance for Global Health: Power, Politics and Justice,” with gender, equity, evidence, and sustainability as cross-cutting themes. In 2019, over 500 people are expected to directly benefit from the Conference, which will take place October 17 to 19 in Ottawa.
