This project aims to consolidate and make more widely available open source information on DPRK sanctions evasion by developing a web-based platform to disseminate timely and actionable information on DPRK maritime sanctions evasion; strengthening institutional capacity to produce reports on entities known to have supported DPRK maritime sanctions evasion; producing capacity-building resources for compliance and regulatory experts on maritime sanctions enforcement; and establishing a mechanism to allow experts to request rapid-reaction investigations on entities suspected of being involved in DPRK sanctions evasion.

Improved access by public and private sector experts to tools, resources, and international best practices to prevent DPRK WMD proliferation-related activities through the creation of capacity-building resources.
Increased ability by Canada, its allies, the UN Panel of Experts, and the private sector to identify entities that are part of DPRK sanctions evasion networks through the creation of a web-based platform and rapid-reaction investigation mechanism that will allow users to access a range of actionable open source information on DPRK maritime sanctions evasion.
