Description:
The 7th World One Health Congress (WOHC) will take place in Singapore in November 2022. Southeast Asia remains a hot spot for emerging infectious diseases. The region is home to concentrated population centres with high levels of socio-economic diversity and mobility, wide ranging human and animal health system capacities, one of the highest rates of deforestation globally and climate shifts that impact humans, animal and vector ecologies. Together, these contribute to a host of disease threats.

Reinforce global health security by enabling interdisciplinary and multi-sectoral solutions for major One Health challenges;

Enhanced inter-sectoral collaboration at a global level across the human-animal-environmental health and global health security spectrum by establishing a strategic forum of stakeholders work-ing on biological threat reduction;

Increased access to and exchange of advanced scientific data and expertise about the emergence and spread of potentially harmful zoonotic diseases and biological threats.
