Description:
This UNDP Chad project in reintegration of FTFs (Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration - DDR), aims to counter violent extremism in key provinces struggling with attacks and propaganda of Boko Haram and others VEO. Especially, the project will support the profiling and reintegration of former Boko-Haram associates into their communities by 1) assisting in their socio-professional reconversion; 2) supporting communities by setting up socio-cultural or socio-economic infrastructure adapted to their needs, 3) as well as an awareness of the dangers of radicalization and violent extremist propaganda.

Expected Results:

The expected results are:
i) Host communities and former of Boko Haram fighters accept each other and coexist peacefully;
ii) The former fighters collaborate and maintain constructive and positive relations with the defense and security forces.
iii) The former associates succeed in their socio-professional reconversion in harmony with the host communities.
