Description:
This project aims to combat inequality and exclusion and to find evidence based solutions in the context of advocacy efforts at the UN and is part of the Pathfinders Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies Grand Challenge initiative. The Pathfinders, is a global partnership coordinated by CIC. Pathfinders members works to accelerate delivery of the UN’s SDG goals and their commitment to provide justice for all by 2030. The Grand Challenge is part of the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies initiative, which is led by 35 participating member states, including Canada, and over 100 partners from leading international organizations, global partnerships, and civil society partners across the world.

Expected Results:

The expected outcomes for this project include:
(i) Mobilize and support government, multilateral and civil society commitments to deliver equality and inclusion measures, including gender equality, in national development policy and plans and multilateral and civil society strategies;
(ii) Increase collaboration and cooperation on measures promoting equality and inclusion, including gender equality, at a global level by creating networks of key stakeholders in a strong and diverse cross-regional constituency of Government, multilateral, and civil society partners.
