Description:
The project will provide funding to support the successful organization of Arctic 360’s Annual Conference: “Tilting the Globe: Accelerating Cooperation, Innovation and Opportunity”, in Toronto, February 21-23, 2023. This includes expenses such as venue rental, catering, audio-visual services and conference promotion.
The project will also include hosting a Young Entrepreneurs Lunchtime Fireside Chat at which conference attendees will benefit from engaging with young Northern and Indigenous entrepreneurs and students as they share why they are interested in business and economic development, what challenges they have faced and how some of the barriers to entry, expansion and success can be removed so that they and other entrepreneurs can develop and grow the much needed business sector in northern regions.

An international forum is hosted in Canada for discussion of international Arctic issues including a focus on youth engagement. Young northern entrepreneurs or scholars are provided an opportunity to discuss and network with northern entrepreneurs and political leaders.
