The expected results for this project include: (1) increasing the number of women who have the ability to make decisions and exercise leadership in regard to strategies, policies and practices in biosecurity and biosafety at institutional, national and regional levels; (2) improving equality practices in the area of creation of and implementation of biosecurity programs, biosafety and biological non-proliferation in Africa and; (3) multi-sectoral collaboration with women to encourage equality and autonomy of women in the context of biosecurity and biosafety.
