Description:
This project aims to improve the well-being of vulnerable women and girls in the 4 departments of Haiti’s Grand Sud region by increasing access to sexual and reproductive health services and providing care to women victims of gender-based violence. the project is proposing activities that will help improve the quality of training provided to midwives, facilitate access to quality holistic sexual and reproductive health services, and support advocacy to encourage greater involvement by women, girls, midwives and men in the process to integrate sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence into public policy. The beneficiaries include pregnant women, survivors of SGBV, and women accessing family planning services. The project has a duration of five years with a total budget of 15 000 000 of canadien dollars.
