Description:
This project seeks to promote the protection of human rights of men, women, girls, and boys across all regions of Ukraine, including territory occupied by the Russian Federation. Project activities include: (1) enhancing monitoring in areas under Russian occupation; (2) improving conflict-related sexual violence case documentation and support to accountability mechanisms; (3) preventing civilian harm through detailed reporting on the conduct of hostilities; (4) improving the protection of prisoners of war and civilian detainees; and (5) providing early warning on violations in occupied territories.

Expected Results:

The expected outcome of this project is enhanced protection of civilians, in particular women, children and persons in a vulnerable situation (persons with disabilities, older persons, children, and minorities). Also, it includes prisoners of war, those in frontline areas and those returning from occupied territory across all regions of Ukraine, and territory occupied by the Russian Federation.
