Description:
The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) provides international protection and assistance to the world’s refugees, stateless persons, asylum seekers, and in some instances, internally displaced persons. With the support of GAC and other donors, this project provides assistance and protection to refugees, internally displaced persons and other persons of concern between 2025-2026. Project activities include, providing lifesaving assistance to refugees and other people of concern, including protection, shelter and core relief items, health care services, water, sanitation and hygiene, cash assistance, livelihoods and socio-economic inclusion, mental health, and psychosocial support.

Expected Results:
The expected outcome for this project is improved access to assistance and protection services for refugees, internally displaced persons and those who are stateless in order to meet their basic human needs and restore their livelihoods. The expected ultimate outcome is lives saved, suffering alleviated and human dignity maintained in countries experiencing humanitarian crises or acute food insecurity.
