Description:
The Caribbean Community Resilience Fund (CCRF) is a blended finance initiative that will offer flexible funding, including loans and investments, to support Caribbean businesses and climate-resilient infrastructure projects get the financing they need to grow. The Fund will prioritize projects across key sectors, including energy, transport, information technology, financial services, blue economy, and agriculture. The Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) will work alongside the fund to strengthen businesses and bring more investment into the region. Support to the TAF will provide expert advice, training, and project preparation services to help businesses strengthen operations, scale sustainably, and reduce investment risks. This blended approach aims to unlock growth in these critical sectors by balancing risk and returns, while building long-term resilience across the region.

Expected Results:
The expected results for the project include: (1) increased investment-readiness of businesses in the Caribbean that integrate climate resilience, decarbonization and inclusive business practices into project design; and (2) enhanced operational efficiency of portfolio companies and value chain actors that implement climate resilience, decarbonization and gender-responsive inclusion strategies.
