The initiative is in partnership with GSG Impact and National Partner organizations including in Central America, West Africa, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. The project seeks to create employment, reduce poverty and improve the well-being of low-income populations in these countries and regions by increasing the flow of Canadian impact investment into developing countries. This is done by strengthening global investment networks, improving knowledge and awareness, and reducing barriers to investment by supporting CAFIID’s Communities of Practice, developing case studies and tools, hosting in-country and virtual learning events, and facilitating direct investor-investee connections.
