Description:
The project aims to improve the economic well-being of marginalized women and youth, including refugees and persons with disabilities in Jordan. To do so, it will reduce gender-specific barriers to entrepreneurship and green jobs while strengthening women-led enterprises that support Jordan’s shift to a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy. The project will build universities’ capacity for climate-responsive entrepreneurship, equip female youth to run sustainable businesses, and expand access to targeted business support services—creating inclusive, climate-smart economic ecosystems where women and youth can thrive. The project will be implemented in the selected governorates of Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba.
