Description:

Through the Rapid Access Program, Defence community members can access sexual misconduct support quickly, and receive counselling services. This program also provides virtual counselling and phone appointments to avoid disruption of services. Sexual Assault Centre Kingston is located close to Canadian Forces Base Kingston.

An increase in projects, initiatives and services reaching the local Defence community through innovative service delivery; Greater access to information, training and support within the Defence community; An increase in effective mechanisms at the Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre to strengthen community-based supports for those impacted by sexual misconduct in the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), especially underserved groups; Improved support across the justice and social sectors for those impacted by or at risk of gender-based violence, including survivors; Further integration of community-based service providers within the CAF/DND network of support services for those affected by sexual misconduct in the CAF/DND.
