The funding will support the development of a moral harm assessment tool for sexual minorities using a large online dataset from veterans and civilian participants to provide the Department of Defense and the Canadian Armed Forces a better understanding of identity-based moral harm, and how such experiences can put more LGBTQ2SAI+ people at risk for developing trauma-related mental health conditions.
