Funding will support research and development to identify solutions to National Defence’s Challenge: Respiratory protection for DND/CAF members with facial hair. Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) in collaboration with Canada’s defence & security communities are looking for respiratory systems that can accommodate facial hair and still provide maximum protection in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) environments.
