Description:
Modernization of Canada’s 155mm Munitions Production and Supply - Considering the technological advancements required, and to ensure that Canada is able to continue supporting war efforts in Ukraine and better prepare for future conflict, Canada must explore ways to improve and modernize the munitions industry. Areas for modernization are wide-ranging, such as the requirement to expose the industry to emerging technologies for improved production and supply, and to develop enablers to exploit and use new materials for improved munition effects.

The IDEaS program is seeking proposals from selected Munitions Supply and Production companies that aim to exploit the advances within the munitions industry that demonstrate, integrate, and/or improve current capabilities and to introduce new concepts, specifically relating to 155mm munitions.
