ECONSEC will conduct research on economic security and corporate espionage – with a particular focus on businesses and universities – as a key element of national security, Canadian defence and Canadian prosperity. ECONSEC intends to map and identify this new threat reality and connect The Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF) with leading experts to inform the policy debate.

Additionally, the network seeks to disseminate knowledge broadly and build strategic partnerships, ultimately impacting defence and security outcomes both domestically and internationally.
