Grants and Contributions:
The expected results from a MINDS Collaborative Network include enhanced research and analysis that inform and improve defence and security policies, contributing to more effective policy development and implementation. By fostering collaboration among academics, practitioners, and policymakers, the network aims to build capacity, encourage innovation, and increase engagement among diverse stakeholders, leading to improved defence capabilities and readiness. Additionally, the network seeks to disseminate knowledge broadly and build strategic partnerships, ultimately impacting defence and security outcomes both domestically and internationally.
The MINDS Program seeks to enhance collaboration between the Defence Team and the broader defence and security expert community. To support this objective, Collaborative Networks bring together multidisciplinary teams of experts from across Canada and abroad to study specific defence and security policy issues. Their work supports defence policy-thinking and decision-making while broadening and diversifying the community of experts engaged in defence and security discussions.
