Program Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Contribution Program is to optimize the Department of National Defence (DND) infrastructure by seeking cost-effective solutions with eligible recipients who have the mandate and the capacity to operate and maintain the infrastructure and who may also benefit from joint use opportunities. Greater resource efficiency enables DND to keep its focus on maintaining and strengthening its operational capacity in order to meet defence and security commitments, while leveraging the expertise and capabilities of other organizations.
Coverage:
This project will benefit the CRD and DND by creating a shared use potable water distribution system and supply potable water to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot.
