Description:
The Project deliverable is an integrated utility system intended to reduce the diesel fuel and potable water hauled in, and solid and liquid waste hauled out, of a simulated relocatable temporary camp (RTC) relying upon 4 subsystems: (a) a microgrid solution to provide a hybrid combination of renewable energy sources, battery storage and diesel generation; (b) optionally a blackwater filtration solution to treat and reclaim blackwater for reuse in toilets and urinals; (c) a direct potable reuse (DPR) treatment solution provides reuse water and potable water by recycling greywater and non-potable hauled-in water; and (d) a waste-to-energy gasification solution to gasify compatible on-site waste streams to provide a clean emission source of heat to an optional combined heat and power management (CHP) system.
