The Vancouver Principles Contribution Program (VPCP) will enable DND/CAF to provide additional support to non-governmental organizations to conduct research, capture lessons learned and identify best practices on the prevention of the recruitment and use of child soldiers. The work undertaken through the VPCP will help inform not only DND/CAF, but also other UN member states which have or are considering adopting and implementing the Vancouver Principles
