Description:
The Emergency Community Support Fund helps charities and non-profit organizations provide services to serve vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. The demands on these community-based organizations have increased dramatically and this investment flows through three national intermediaries that have the ability to deliver funds quickly to community organizations that serve vulnerable populations.

Expected Results:
Community organizations have increased financial resources so they are better able to address the needs of Vulnerable Populations, including persons with disabilities, children and families, seniors facing isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other priority groups.
Project resources are efficiently and equitably redistributed in a timely manner across Canada, including to all provinces and territories and across all Vulnerable Populations and address the most pressing social inclusion and wellbeing needs of Vulnerable Populations.
