Description:
This international seminar aims to: a) bring together social partners, including domestic workers' associations, and international and interdisciplinary researchers specialized in the field in an intensive consultation focused on the question of decent work for domestic workers; b) deepen study and knowledge of the challenges associated with the regulation domestic work to achieve decent work; c) facilitate exchange and sharing of information of the Canadian and comparative international experiences, including that of the North and South with the goal to support social partners' greater understanding of the challenges, and shared perspectives in order to prepare for the ILO discussion; d) celebrate the ILO's anniversary.
