Description:
This project will create a destination site called Wiidookdaadiwin (meaning "working together and helping one another") in the County of Simcoe that displays the beauty of the land, provides first nation education, and delivers an inspiring message for communities to come together in the County of Simcoe. The re-purposed landfill site will feature a viewing deck, gathering spaces, accessible pathways, interpretive signage, indigenous plantings and a recently commissioned sculpture that is being temporarily housed offsite.
