Working Together Priorities: expanding access to family health services; supporting health workers and reducing backlogs; improving access to quality mental health, substance use and addictions services; and modernizing the health care system with standardized information and digital tools.
Aging with Dignity: to help people age with dignity, closer to home by improving access to home and community care, and safe long-term care.

Expected Results:

Provinces, territories (PTs) and stakeholders are engaged in initiatives to make progress towards improving health care systems in the shared health priorities: expanding access to family health services; supporting health workers and reducing backlogs; improving access to quality mental health, substance use and addictions services; modernizing the health care system with standardized information and digital tools.

PTs and stakeholders are engaged in initiatives to increase access to home and community care services and make improvements to LTC capacity and access across Canada.
