Description:
This project will support the development of four Emergency Treatment Hubs (Maaqtusiis, Port Alberni, Nanaimo and Victoria) that will be staffed with trained outreach personnel who will facilitate access to existing community supports and services. The project will collaborate with external health and other service providers to improve immediate/emergency service provision and to collectively develop a web of support that will eventually include stabilization/sobering supports offered directly in Maaqtusiis.
