The initiative Supporting the Opioid Crisis through Connection will expand crisis supports and outreach services across its vast territory to address the ongoing opioid crisis. By increasing accessibility to preventative, recovery, and culturally grounded land-based programs, the initiative will help members reconnect with community, family, and traditional practices. Funding will support dedicated positions and the purchase of vehicles to deliver outreach and crisis support throughout the territory. Through these efforts, the initiative will strengthen cultural connection, support healing, and enhance the health and resilience of Nation members.
