Description:
The Nazko Harm Reduction and Safe Youth Hub initiative will address the urgent overdose crisis by providing life-saving harm reduction supplies and outreach services. The initiative will also establish a safe, inclusive youth hub through facility renovations, offering culturally relevant programming, wellness activities, and educational initiatives on the impacts of addiction. A four-wheel drive vehicle will ensure year-round outreach and access to services, including in remote areas. By combining immediate harm reduction efforts with supportive youth programming, the initiative will help prevent overdoses and protect the health and safety of the community.
