Description:
The Westbank Recovery Support and Transition Program aims to increase aftercare and transitional support for Westbank First Nation community members. The program will address both the immediate and ongoing needs of individuals transitioning out of treatment or crisis and back into stable or independent living. Activities will include the purchase of vehicles for mobile outreach, the hiring of an addictions counsellor, and the establishment of a Transition and Housing Support Program for clients moving from treatment facilities to independent or sober living.
