This project will improve access to services in KCA’s affiliated First Nations communities by establishing private, safe, and destigmatizing meeting spaces. These spaces will reduce barriers to care, provide culturally safe environments, and encourage community members to seek support close to home. By creating accessible and supportive infrastructure, the initiative will enhance service availability, improve client experience, and foster early and consistent intervention amid the ongoing mental health and substance use crisis.
