This investment will reaffirm CAE’s global position in simulation, training and modelling. It also drives a new business model for CAE to reduce development costs andtime to market for new technologies, reflecting post 9-11 aerospace and defence markets conditions. This initiative will develop a set of core technologies that will be used to create a broad range ofproducts for simulation-based applications.
The amendment has been completed to extend the repayment period end date from July 31, 2029 to April 30, 2030.
To strategically invest in projects with firms across Canada in support of technological development that fosters innovation, commercialization, sustainable development and increased investment.These investments have targeted pre-competitive projects across a wide spectrum of technology areas such as environmental and enabling technologies, which includes biotechnology and health related applications, plus aerospace and defence technologies as well as manufacturing and communications technologies.
