Les activités effectuées grâce à la contribution devraient permettre à l'Institut Périmètre d'atteindre les résultats suivants :a) Renforcer la capacité de l'Institut d'effectuer de la recherche de calibre mondial;b) Renforcer la capacité de l'Institut d'attirer et de former la prochaine génération de chercheurs en physique théorique;c) Renforcer et élargir la capacité de l'Institut de faire progresser chez le public canadien le niveau de littératie et d'intérêt envers la valeur de la science, de la physique et de l'innovation, par ses activités de sensibilisation.

The objectives of the contribution to the Perimeter Institute are to:a) Increase knowledge in the various strands of theoretical physics, thereby building Canada's reputation as the destination of choice for conducting physics research, attracting the highest calibre of theoretical physicists to Canada, creating partnerships with the international physics community and ultimately strengthening the Institute's position as a world-leading research centre for theoretical physics;b) Attract and retain emerging researchers in physics through innovative training programs; andc) Enhance the literacy and interest of students, teachers, and the Canadian public in science in general, and physics in particular.
