The investment in this project would increase the sensing envelope of a vehicle as they become more integrated with self-driving technology, which would assist in collision avoidance.
This Contribution Agreement was terminated, no funds have been disbursed. This is a non-repayable contribution.
The ASIP objectives are to:-contribute to automotive research and development (R&D) capacity in Canada;-foster the competitiveness of the Canadian automotive supply chain;-incent high-value, innovative development activities in the middle phase of the technology development continuum (Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 through 7) to position Canadian automotive suppliers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to develop products of tomorrow;-maintain high-skilled jobs; and-support the Government's environmental, and science and technology agendas.
