Expected Results:
This project will develop and demonstrate two ground-breaking platforms to help consumers, utilities and communities: 1) a cloud-based Energy System Platform (ESP) for utilities to optimize DERs and offer new business models; 2) a cloud-integrated microgrid platform (MCP) with AI capability. It will help improve power delivery to underserved communities, better integrate renewable energy into the power grid and reduce future electricity costs for consumers.
