Description:
ADF Group Inc. and its subsidiary, Groupe LAR, plan to expand operations and increase capacity at two production facilities. The first phase will introduce advanced automation equipment and upgrade ADF’s Terrebonne, Qc, facility to meet new contract requirements. These improvements will enhance production efficiency and capacity while also helping the company shift a portion of its production towards the Canadian market. The 2nd phase will modernize Groupe LAR’s machinery and facilities in Métabetchouan, QC, to eliminate production backlogs and expand capacity. The project’s work phase is scheduled to end on September 30, 2027.

Expected Results:

The project will reinforce ADF’s domestic production capacity, positioning ADF to enter the hydroelectric and overhead crane sectors. Modernizing facilities and increasing automation will enhance ADF’s contribution to Canada’s critical infrastructure supply chain.
The project would also advance the government’s stated ambition to accelerate nation building projects through infrastructure upgrades.
