CANARIE, one of two organizations under the Digital Research Infrastructure Strategy: 1) operates and maintains the CANARIE network, a leading-edge research network, that connects research institutions across Canada and globally; 2) assists SMEs operating in Canada to advance innovation and commercialization, by offering a cloud service; and 3) strengthens cybersecurity at Canada’s research and education organizations through their Cybersecurity Initiatives Program that align, coordinate, and fund cybersecurity initiatives that are identified as priorities by stakeholders across the sector.
