Grants and Contributions:
The Project outputs will include: (1) A virtual workshop, to take place in spring of 2024, supported by a presentation of key findings of the analysis to exchange between policymakers and industry, focusing on industry trends regarding the development and adoption of AI, including skills demands. The results of the discussion will feed into the final policy paper. (2) A policy paper (approx. 40 pages), submitted by 30th September 2024, presenting the main findings of the above-mentioned analysis on labour/skill demands for AI in Canada and informed by the virtual workshop.
The purpose of the Program is to enable Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) to provide grants to share in the funding of specific projects undertaken by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). In this way, the Program will enable the Department to more fully participate in OECD projects and take better advantage of the potential to advance its objectives through its participation in OECD activities.
