Description:
Centennial Park is a large (17+ acre / 7 ha) central community park in the Village of Manotick, Ontario. The park is the backdrop to the Manotick Community Centre and the Mike O'Neil Arena and includes an outdoor hockey rink, basketball courts, tennis courts, ball diamonds, soccer fields, play structure and skateboard park, and soon will have pickleball courts and a pump track. Our planning project proposes to study an extension to and improvement of the current pathway network within the park to increase walkability and bike-ability and to improve community accessibility.
