Description:
This project involves planting various types of trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass at various locations to revegetate certain areas of the band’s reserves as well as to complete bank stabilization in an area that was recently disturbed from flooding. The project will increase access to greenspace, increase biodiversity as well as influence and control the invasive species encroaching in certain areas of the reserves, specifically blue weed. It will also help the salmon population breeding in the creek.
